DESCRIPTION
Hayley Rose - Nature lover, Teacher Designer and owner of The Woven Dream (that's me) will again be participating as a facilitator at the Fibre Arts Festival offering some workshops and meditations within the festival. This is a wonderful fulfilling festival that two lovely souls pulled together and made absolutely magical.
Luke & Alice are behind the festival and are a husband and wife team. Alice has a passion for traditional and contemporary Maori art as well as raranga (weaving) and has been actively involved in learning and sharing for the past 15 years while Luke has been involved in producing and managing events in both NZ and Australia. Together they have experience and passion for creating events that inspire and have ran the Fibre Arts Festival since 2018 and many other events along the way. They were very excited to be bringing it to life in 2018 and have been making it even more amazing to smash 2020! 2020 will be the third year the Fibre Arts Festival will run, I attended as a facilitator the first year in 2018, 2019 I was unfortunately unable to make it but 2020 is the year of magic so I won't miss it for the world.
There are many many absolutely amazing facilitators, the location is amazing and attendees are lovely, it's a really special event all round.
The festival is not only a celebration of fibre arts and artists but also a gathering of like-minded individuals who want to come together to create, share, nurture and connect with others. Alice, Luke and their supporters along the way didn't just create an event but they designed an experience that participants and facilitators remember forever.
