THE PROCESS
You will learn the coiling technique using natural and recycled materials. This technique dates back 10,000 years and provides a strong sense of connection to ancestors, past lives, family/community and self. Each stitch connecting to the next passing round and round in a journey bringing new intentions, energy and growth.
Coiling is a creative meditation that is really beautiful in a group circle bringing free flowing peaceful energy to the maker and a greater sense of connection to the mother, self and those around you.
We will have the opportunity to learn about weaving with natural, recycled and sustainable materials including harvesting and preparation of invasive species.
The Woven Dream Basket Weaving Blog provides further details on this process.
