Running time 2 to 2.5 hours 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
THE PROCESS
You will learn the coiling technique using natural and recycled materials.
Coil weaving is a creative meditation that is really beautiful in a group setting it brings free-flowing peaceful energy to the maker.
This technique dates back 10,000 years, providing a strong sense of connection to ancestors, past lives, community, the self, and of course mother nature.
Each stitch connecting to the next passing round and round in a journey bringing new intentions, energy and growth.
We will have the opportunity to learn about weaving with natural, recycled and sustainable materials including harvesting and preparation.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
All materials needed to finish your baskets are provided.
You will leave with a new meditative and creative practice and access to our online resources to keep you connected and weaving. Please ensure to add yourself to the private weaving group that will be emailed out prior to the workshop.
THE SETTING
Weather permitted we will be located outside on the shady edges of Yerrabi Pond in an intimate weaving circle on the earth. Meeting point is shown in the images, please make yourself familiar with the surroundings before attending (there are no toilets).
WHAT TO BRING
Something to add to the middle of the circle to soak up the magic of our intentions and creative energy
Anything you need to keep yourself comfortable and happy for 2 to 2.5 hours
A bolster/fold up chair/yoga mats if needed for comfortable ground seating (some cushions will be provided)
Sun protection (we will follow the shade and can move if necessary)
A water bottle/snacks if you need them
